The Road Home Row Along

Thanks so much to Marian @ Seams to be Sew and Amy @ Sew Incredibly Crazy for organizing this hop and for the many many hours spent making it so fabulous!!  Over 40 designers from all over the world really make this a special hop and I'm so happy to be a part of it!

I joined this Blog Hop earlier this year but due to a crazy summer, I was unable to complete the pattern.  At the last minute, I teamed up with Marian @ Seams to be Sew and she was absolutely amazing at coming up with the pattern... I provided the design and she rocked the rest of it!

http://www.seamstobesew.com/the-road-home-row-along-schedule/

I live in Palmdale and get the opportunity to drive past the LA Skyline and the Hollywood sign quite often.  They both hold a special place in my heart.

Another (less popular but equally beautiful) view from my home (literally my home... this pic was taken in my back yard)...

It's so beautiful here and I'm so thankful that I get to call LA home.

And now for the Row!!!  Isn't it amazing!!!  Marian did an incredible job!!

There are wonderful giveaways (including one from me!!) each and every day of this hop so check the schedule below and be sure to visit each blog each day of the hop!

Thanks for stopping by!!

  9. Wow, Paula, that is really a terrific design! LA certainly has its charm, doesn't it? Thanks for the pattern. I'm glad you're busy teaching, we've crossed paths a few times at HMQS and other events with your Aunt Barb, and I've always enjoyed learning from you.

  17. I can honestly say I was more than happy to complete this pattern for you and was honored to be asked to do so. I didn't want to lose this row from the Row Along, well I wouldn't want to lose any of them, but I'm happy we got to represent California with this wonderful skyline. Thank you so much for letting me be part of your pattern and allowing me to finish it up for you. I am happy we could get it worked out so you could participate. I appreciate being able to see the view, I totally get the skyline now and the beautiful look for your backyard, who wouldn't love that view especially at night when the lights are on and you get all those beautiful shadows.

  21. My hometown view was a little south of there, in Huntington Beach, but that Southern California light is something you never forget. The photo from your backyard made me homesick!

  22. That L.A. skyline is always amazing. There used to be a restaurant in Santa Monica, at the top of a tall building, called Gates of Spain. I loved to go there just for the view up the coastline!
